I had a nice long holiday during the chinese new year and I enjoyed the jam-free traffic in the KL city centre. Now I realised how short most of the distance within KL is without the congested traffic. It was a nice break and I had the opportunity to make this cupcakes for Wati. Guess it is still not too late to wish everyone Gong Xi Fa Cai and Happy Holidays.

Blueberry Cheese Cake ordered by Rosita for her lovely daughter. This is a real cheese cake as little flour was use in the batter. I use 500gm of cream cheese to make this 9 inch round cake. This is also my family favourite cake and we prefer to use fresh strawberry as topping and of course served with whipped cream..yummylicious cheese cake.

Cakes Decorating Class

This cake decorating class was attended by Azah's family, Azah, Ain, Kak Es, Kak De and Imin, a 12 year old amazing young girl who has unexpected interest in cake decorating. This basic class offers the experience in baking cupcakes and preparing buttercream from scratch. Participants will have a hands on experience in decorating the cakes and cupcakes. This is a good start for whoever has the interest in baking and decorating. So to all ladies out there, rolled up you sleeves and join me now!

Anniversary Cake

This is the most difficult cake for me to do as there was no specific design requested by Kak Lis. She wanted a nice cake for her anniversary. Hmmm nice cake sounds simple but yet an uphill task for me. Finally at 2 am on Saturday I completed the cake decoration. I did not want the cake to be crowded with too many flowers, inspired by 'mat salleh' wedding cake which normally simple and sweet, this is the final outcome. An anniversary cake should be with lots of love, hugs and kisses after years of marriage. May the couple enjoy their anniversary and live happily ever after.......
